Superintendent to host public budget forums
The Superintendent of the Knox County Schools will host two public budget forums in March to gather public comment concerning development of the school system budget for fiscal year 2010-2011. Dr. Jim McIntyre will host meetings at the following times and locations:
The budget forums are in addition to the previously scheduled community/employee forums planned for Feb. 23 at South-Doyle High School, and March 9 at Karns High School. Any resident of Knox County, or any employee of the Knox County Schools, is welcome to hear and discuss community, parent, student and employee issues and insights about the Knox County Schools with Superintendent Jim McIntyre. Both sessions will begin at 6 p.m.
